"How old was Jesus when he first delivered His message?" It was with this impertinent yet pertinent question about their presence and participation at the meeting that the youth challenged the conference during the last plenary session.

"According to WCC standards He would have been considered a youth..."

Calling on the member churches to be vigilant concerning the presence of youth at the centre of major events like this conference, the 5% of youth (stewards and delegates included) recalled that the goal of the WCC is to see 25% youth participation in every major event.
